I am 19 years old and I am taking up Advertising Management in De La Salle University - Manila, Philippines. I am still on my first year and hoping to finish the course in 3 years time.
No formal Photoshop education
I haven't taken up any course on Photoshop. I am currently learning by myself, and I am writing this blog for me to facilitate my learning. That's why I am asking you to comment (truthfully) on my posts as much as possible so I could learn from you too. I learn Photoshop mostly from online tutorials - YouTube tutorials, Photoshop tutorial websites, Photoshop forums, and others. I am saying all this so the readers won't expect very much from me. Yet.
Adobe Photoshop CS5
Adobe Photoshop CS5 is the only digital imaging software that I have. I haven't used the previous versions of it. I also want to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator but I am currently financially incapable of acquiring the software. That's so sad for me haha.
Laptop
Also, I am using Photoshop on my MacBook Pro 2010. So really, you could see how I am just quite new to Photoshop, and I really got hooked on to it.
Camera?
I am so poor that I can't afford yet even a point-and-shoot camera! haha. I have spent much of my money recently to buying my MacBook Pro. But anyway, I'm dreaming to buy any Canon SLR so I could learn Photography. What's a photoshopper gonna do without a camera? I just use stock photos and my friends' photos perhaps.
When did I start learning Photoshop?
I have known about Photoshop since I was high school but I never got to focus on learning it until just recently. I acquired my MacBook Pro early December 2010 and that's when I got inspired to learn more.
Other interests
Recently, I also started trying learning to play the guitar, and learning to draw. And I love playing Badminton too.
