I just recently finished this typographic art of mine after 12 hours of work. This is a typographic portrait of Manny Pacquiao, a Filipino boxer. He is the first boxer in history to win ten world titles in eight different weight divisions. He has an upcoming fight against Shane Mosely this coming May 7. This is my tribute to him. Also, this is my first "hard core" typographic portrait to have made.

Taylor Swift - Typographic Portrait

I made this image last year - December 20, 2010. I just want to share it here just to fill something for my blog because thinking of what to put in my blog is such a troublesome task. I'm a big Taylor Swift if that's not obvious to you. Also I'm kinda into making typographic portraits right now and I'm looking for more tutorials to help me. Do you wanna know why? It's because of this page that I have bumped into. If anyone out there could help me make anything close to those works, I'll be forever grateful.

Anyway, I made this typographic portrait using Photoshop and by following this tutorial I found on PSDTOP. It's quite easy so I tried it. Next, I'm thinking of following this other typographic portrait tutorial from abduzeedo. If you have any suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate it.

This particular typographic portrait above is my favorite among the featured in abduzeedo's post. It is a portrait of Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple. I like the color choice and simply how the typography is constructed. It is made by dylanroscover from deviantART. I don't know what software was used or how it was done but this is just epic. You can find the original art here.

Maybe sometime, I would feature a list of typographic portraits of my own - dream on!
